Additional Police Presenters in Micronesia

On 14 September 2017 the Captain George Skilling of the Federated States of Micronesia National Police delivered Cyber Safety Pasifika Awareness Presentation training to 11 National Police colleagues. This training was focussed on enhancing the officer’s ability to identify Technology Enabled Crime and to deliver the Awareness Presentations to schools and community groups.

The Chief of the National Police, Chief Jonny M. Santos has been very supportive of the efforts of Capt. Skilling and the program. He has advised that he would like to see the training delivered to all National Police Personnel.

 

On 25 September 2017 Capt. Skilling delivered the Cyber Safety Pasifika Awareness Presentation training to 22 Police Cadets from the Kolonia Town Police and the Sokehs Municipality Police which was hosted by the Kolonia Town Police Chief Darney Phillip. Police Chief Phillip is fully supportive of the Cyber Safety Pasifika Program.

To date Capt. Skilling has trained 33 Police and is looking forward to working with these officers to deliver Awareness Presentations to Schools and Community Groups across the Capital of FSM, Pohnpei.
